A PLAN YOU CAN BUILD ON

Understand the parts.
Own the plan.

agency.parts is an independent directory of software for building AI agents, paired with a simple assembly workbench. Explore 48 projects across 12 roles, choose a stack, and take the plan with you.

From idea to bill of materials

  1. Explore. Search by project, role, or keyword. Each listing links directly to its project documentation.
  2. Assemble. Start with a research, operations, or robotics kit, or start from scratch. Name your build and describe its objective.
  3. Refine. Choose one component for each core role: intelligence, memory, tools, authority, and feedback. Add supporting components from the directory.
  4. Export. Download the Agent Bill of Materials (BOM), or copy its JSON. Use Import BOM to bring it back into the workbench later.

What the build represents

A BOM records your objective and component choices. Each component includes its project link and role. The builder checks that key choices are present; you still need to evaluate compatibility, licenses, permissions, and runtime behavior as part of implementation.

The reference kits are starting points for planning. They do not install software, execute an agent, or establish that the selected projects work together.

The version 1 JSON Schema describes the export format. The importer also accepts the original agency.parts/bom/v0.1 format. Only recognized catalog entries are accepted, and imports replace the current build when validation succeeds.

Your build stays in your browser

The workbench saves your build in this browser's local storage. There is no account or cloud sync. Your objective, build name, and component selections are not sent to an application server. Export a copy before clearing browser data or switching devices.

If browser storage is unavailable, the workbench still works for the current session and shows a storage notice. The site has no analytics scripts or advertising cookies. Cloudflare serves the site and receives normal web request information, such as IP address, URL, and browser headers.

Opening project documentation takes you to that project's own website. Its privacy practices apply there.

An independent reference catalog

Project names belong to their respective owners. Listings do not imply a partnership or endorsement. Descriptions summarize each project's role; licenses, releases, and services can change. Always check the linked upstream documentation when choosing software.

The complete catalog is available as JSON. The directory does not assign security ratings or claim verified compatibility.
